LEGAL / PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 13 September 2026
1. Who controls your data
The controller of personal data processed through this website is Pracownia Projektowa Przemysław Jarosz, ul. Szlak 77/222, 31-153 Kraków, Poland, NIP 7352429941, EU VAT PL7352429941, publishing under the pen name Peek Jary.
Privacy enquiries: contact@peekjary.com.
2. Visits and the session counter
The website uses a first-party session cookie to count one visit per browser session. Reloading a page or moving between pages during the same session does not create another visit. The application database stores only the aggregate total. The counter is not used for advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking, and the application does not store a visitor's IP address or browsing history for this purpose.
The hosting and security infrastructure may process technical logs such as IP address, device or browser information, request time and requested resource where necessary to deliver and secure the website. This processing is based on the controller's legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure service. Technical logs may be kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required by law, security obligations or the provider's documented retention policy.
3. Mailing list
If you join the mailing list, your email address and any information you submit in the signup form are processed on the basis of your consent in order to send project updates. The mailing list is provided by Kit, acting as a service provider. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described by Kit.
You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a message or contacting the address above. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it. Subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe or consent is otherwise withdrawn, subject to limited records needed to honour an opt-out or meet legal obligations. See Kit's privacy notice.
4. Email contact
When you write to the contact address, the controller processes your email address, message and ordinary message metadata to answer you, manage correspondence and, where relevant, establish or defend claims. The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in handling correspondence, or taking steps at your request before a contract. Messages are kept only as long as needed for the conversation and applicable legal or record-keeping requirements.
5. Author administration
The private author panel uses Sign in with ChatGPT. It is intended only for the site owner and is not required for readers. Authentication information is processed to verify access and protect editorial tools. OpenAI processes authentication data under its own applicable terms and privacy notice.
6. Recipients and transfers
Data may be made available only where necessary to OVHcloud for hosting and technical infrastructure, Kit for mailing-list management and email delivery, and professional advisers or public authorities where required by law. Some providers may process data outside the EEA using an applicable transfer mechanism. The website contains links to independent third-party services; their own privacy notices apply after you follow those links.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses only technologies that are technically necessary for security, session management, the anonymous visits counter and private administrative access. It does not use advertising cookies or non-essential behavioural analytics. If this changes, the privacy and consent setup will be reviewed before those technologies are introduced.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
The website does not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
9. Changes
This notice may be updated when the website, its services or legal requirements change. The current version and its date will remain available on this page.
